I’m super excited to announce that I will be collaborating with the incomparable Mana Quartet on a big new piece for Sax Quartet and Electronics which will be premiered at the Festival of New American Music in Sacramento this November! The new work will be part of Mana’s Sights and Sounds series which is dedicated to new music influenced by artworks in different mediums. My piece will be a musical interpretation of the painting “Expectation” by Valentin Podpomogov, an early 20th century socially-conscious Armenian artist.
